SALON SATISFACTION POLICY

At Top Knotch Salon, we are committed to providing you with the highest quality of service and ensuring a positive experience every time you visit. To maintain this standard, we have implemented a set of policies designed to streamline our operations and deliver the best experience and satisfaction to each of our clients individually. We kindly ask for your participation in adhering to the following policies, as they help us serve you better and ensure every client receives the attention they deserve. Thank you for choosing our salon, we look forward to your next visit.

BOOKING APPOINTMENTS

To secure your appointment, we require a card on file. This helps us ensure a smooth booking process and allows us to better serve all of our clients. Your card will not be charged unless there is a no call, no show missed appointment or late cancellation, in accordance with our policies. 

 If you are uncomfortable providing a card on file, we offer an alternative: a 50% deposit of your total service cost, which can be paid via Venmo (out of salon), cash or card (in salon). Please note that this alternative is not available for online bookings, where a card on file will be mandatory. 

*New clients to TK Salon will be required to fill out our online form prior to booking request. One of our team experts, will contact you for a brief consultation via phone call to ensure your are booked according to your mane goals.

  • Appointments canceled within 48 hours of the scheduled service will incur a fee of 50% of the service total.

  • We understand that life can be unpredictable. However, clients who miss their appointment without notice will be charged 50% of the scheduled service total.

  • Please know that if you are 10 minutes late for your appointment, we may have to reschedule your service if it cannot be completed in the remaining time frame. All attempts to reschedule in a timely manner will be made.

    If we do not hear from you within at least 15 minutes into your scheduled appointment, it is considered a ‘no-show’ and will be treated as a missed appointment. A charge of 50% of the scheduled service(s) will apply and this fee is non-refundable. We thank you for your understanding.

Adjustments or Corrections

At Top Knotch Salon, we understand that achieving your ideal hair color is important — and in some cases, this may require a color correction service. Color corrections can be complex and time-intensive, often taking several hours or multiple sessions depending on the current condition of your hair, the type of previous color treatments, and your desired outcome.

  • To ensure the best results and set realistic expectations, we require a complimentary consultation prior to scheduling any color correction services. During this consultation, one of our experienced stylists will assess your hair’s condition, discuss your goals, and outline a personalized plan, including estimated timing, pricing, and care recommendations.

    If you choose to move forward after the consultation, a $100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. This deposit will be applied toward your final service total. In the event of a no-show or cancellation without 72 hours’ notice, the deposit will be forfeited.

    We appreciate your understanding and look forward to working with you to achieve your hair goals safely and effectively.

  • If you are not fully satisfied with your hair service, we offer a complimentary adjustment within three (3) days of your initial appointment. During this time, we will gladly revisit and adjust any service to ensure it meets your expectations. After the three day period, requests for adjustments will be subject to a service charge. The cost of any revisits or additional work will  be determined based on the nature and extent of the service required. This policy does not cover charges due to factors outside of our control, such as hair damage from at-home treatments, weather conditions or personal styling choices made after the appointment.

    Please note that a 3% convenience fee will be applied to all card transactions. All debit and credit cards are processed as credit. This fee reflects the cost of secure, seamless payment processing and is applied at the time of purchase.

    For your convenience, we also gladly accept cash as an alternative form of payment.
